Spring Lifestyle Family Session | Columbiana OH | The Yost Family
Spring has taken a loooong time to show her face here in Northeast Ohio, so I think we’re all still a little giddy to soak up the rays and see the green grass and blooms! The Yost family had been planning their session for months, and I may have been a little nervous that they’d still be bundled in winter gear for their May session 🤪 But last week their session date rolled around and we just had the most beautiful evening! Brittany wanted to make some memories in the front yard of their home in Columbiana, which of course I am always a fan of. Having your home as the backdrop to your family portraits is so special, and I know their kiddos will always remember this home full of love and comfort. We’ve taken maternity portraits here, newborn photos, and captured so many milestones for Brittany and Dave inside these four walls. The Yosts recently added a pup to their family, and sweet floofy Marco got to join us for some of the fun! Afterwards we drove down the road to Firestone Park, which has a beautiful loop of walking trails that are always fun to explore. Making dandelion wishes was maybe the number one activity of the evening, which just proves that kids don’t need much, haha! The golden hour glow was really showing off, and Kalyn, Caleb, and Claire had tons of fun playing parachute with mom and dad. Brittany and Dave are celebrating 10 years of marriage this June, so of course we had to sneak in some romantic portraits for just the two of them!
Brittany and Dave, it’s been such an honor capturing all the big and little moments of your family over the years. I tried linking all our past sessions, but I think there’s just too many 😆 Thank you for inviting me to capture your precious family, but I’m even luckier to count you guys as friends! I couldn’t love you more and this life you’ve created together!
