2016 was quite an exciting year for the Yost family, in more ways than one!  Their daughter Kalyn celebrated her first birthday, they built their first house together, and they found out that another little babe was on the way – a BOY!  So many milestones in one year, wow!  This is totally just the photographer in me, but my first thoughts as their new home was being built and started coming together was “The light in here is going to be amazing!!”  And it sure is!  I wish every house had full windows in every room to let all that glorious light inside!  This maternity home session was our first shoot in Brittany and Dave’s beautiful new house, and it was so fun!  Toddlers just bring such a fun element to picture taking, their high energy and crazy little personalities are the best.  Kalyn is going to be celebrating her second birthday very soon, and she loves trains, planes, Dory, and reading.  And balloons!!  Which of course we had to include as a little birthday surprise :)  She is going to be one fabulous big sister!  Baby Boy is already so very loved, and these guys can’t wait to welcome him into their family!
