Michael just got home from spending his first week at summer camp, and as we walked around Firestone Park for his birthday session he was just overflowing with stories about all the cool things he got to do at camp.  I just felt so emotional listening to him, because I mean who is this ten year old doing all these big kid things on his own?  He is out there making new friends and learning new things and having experiences that are all his.  I look at his freckley face and cannot believe that my first nephew is really turning ten, I will always remember the day he was born and how excited we all were for him to arrive.  So proud of the kind-hearted human he is growing up to be – he is smart, creative, and still just as sweet as ever….even when he burped a song for me.  We hit up the Columbiana Dairy Queen for our grand finale, so I’d call it a good day indeed.
