When Rachel told me she wanted to do a lifestyle session with her family at their home all decorated for the holiday season, my creative wheels immediately started turning! Rachel is the Christmas QUEEN, and she decorates her home so beautifully! I literally gasped when I walked into the VanArsdale home for the first time – every shelf, nook, and cranny was decked with festive vibes. Truly a Christmas wonderland! The fire crackled in the fireplace as Christmas music played on the record player, and it felt like a magical movie set. Rachel and Jared have the sweetest little girl, Harper, who is almost 4 years old. The most fun age to embrace all the joy of the season! We baked gingerbread cookies, snuggled by the fire, oohed and ahhhed over the Christmas tree. I absolutely adore these moments captured, and there is just something about having family photos done in your home during the holiday season.
