When I think of Whitney and Adam‘s wedding day at Rivercrest Farm, one word comes to mind: intentional. Every element of this day from the readings during their ceremony, to the local dessert goodies, to the friends and family gathered to witness this day…..everything was intentional. Over the past year of planning with Whitney and Adam, I just knew the day was going to be spectacular as it all started coming together. If you know Whitney, then you know she is an extraordinary planner! Being that she is a wedding photographer herself, she has witnessed countless weddings throughout her career. She explained that she took ideas and pieces from all the weddings she has been a part of that she absolutely loved, and together she and Adam designed an incredible day to celebrate their marriage. This was my first time at their amazing venue in Dover OH, and I cannot wait for the chance to go back! Rivercrest Farm is hidden away in the country hills, and provided the most stunning backdrop. Atop a scenic overlook, family and friends gathered outdoors to witness Whitney and Adam’s vows, while a handful of the couple’s musician friends serenaded everyone with some of their favorite songs. Following the ceremony, guests made their way down the hill and back to the historic family barn for cocktail hour and dinner! Barry Dyngles BBQ is truly the BEST cuisine to serve your guests if you’re having a barn wedding, no doubt about it! It’s hard to narrow down which magical moments from this amazing day were my favorite, because there’s just so many that stand out in my mind. But I think I have to go with sunset portraits….and you’ll see why when you scroll through these images! After dinner we snuck the newlyweds back out to the hilltop for a few more moments alone together during the golden hour, and the farm horses joined us!! Yes!!! Sunset portraits are gorgeous enough alone, but add in HORSES?! Just magic, that’s the only word for it.

I have to tell you the story of Whitney’s dress!! This stunning gown is actually TWO wedding dresses pieced together….the top is from one gown, and the bottom is another!
While Whitney and her girls were getting ready at Rivercrest Farm, Allison met up with Adam and the guys at a nearby hotel.
Love these details!! I am a sucker for cognac leather, Adam’s style was awesome.
Finally time for their First Look!! Adam had no idea what she was going to look like!
Look how handsome these guys look!! I LOVE this style!
Whitney, the forest fairy goddess bride!
Here we go! Ceremony time!
Hands down my favorite element of their ceremony right here. Whitney and Adam incorporated a “Passing of the Peace,” where they encouraged guests to stand up, greet their neighbors, and share a hug. This was the best!!
Whitney don’t kill me for sharing this one, but it’s too good not to!! It was a tad humid this day, and getting Adam’s ring on his fingers was easier said than done.
The tree planting unity ceremony with their parents….including dirt from their childhood homes.
MARRIED!
These guys had cocktail hour photos COVERED. Double teamin’ it!
Sunset time!!!
Let’s get this party started!
Congratulations my friends!!!
These photos are absolutely beautiful.. the color is spot on and you captured all the emotions of the day.
