They met while playing college soccer, but the sparks didn’t start flying between Whitney and Adam until four years later when they reconnected at a friend’s wedding.  And the rest, as they say, is history!  These two are tying the knot in June, and I am so honored to be one to share their story.  Especially since Whitney is a wedding photographer herself!  Ahhhh, no pressure!  We began their engagement session with drinks at Melt, where they had their first official date years ago.  They filled me in on all their wedding plans, and I am just counting down the days until June gets here!  Whitney and Adam are making their special day about all the things they love, and those are the best kinds of wedding celebrations.  Not to mention it’s a barn wedding – my favorite!  From there, we headed to their house in Avon for some living room snuggles with Charlie Wrinkles, Whitney’s adorable pup!  When you have a furry family member, you just HAVE to include them in the photo fun!  Our grand finale was a gorgeous nature preserve just bursting with all the beautiful colors of autumn, my favorite color palette of the year.  I have to share with you that Whitney was on a mission to find the perfect field for their session, and had been scoping out potential spots for weeks in advance.  Well, every time she found one, it would get mowed down!  She had an awesome field picked out for us, and drove by it the day before our session to make sure it was still kicking.  When we arrived though, guess what – MOWED DOWN!!!  I had to laugh!!!  Luckily we found another spot just as beautiful right around the corner, and I think those might be my favorite images from our entire time together.

Congratulations on your engagement Whitney and Adam, I hope you had as much fun as I did for your session!  So fun to think of all the memories you have made in your relationship this far, and all that lies ahead.  Enjoy some of my favorites from our day together!!
