While fields of green and glowing sunshine create lovely backdrops for summer weddings, the snow flurries and bare trees of winter create just as lovely a setting for a wintery wedding day.  Sarah and Eric exchanged their vows inside the beautiful St. James chapel in Boardman Park, nestled on a blanket of fresh snow and surrounding woodlands.  From her birdcage veil and lace gown, to her mink wrap and red heels, Sarah was as classic and vintage as could be!  For planning a wedding in 5 months, every detail came together perfectly, and their rustic woodland theme was simply magical.  The newlyweds were troopers in the Ohio cold and were even willing to take some portraits out in the snow flurries!  I know sometimes it’s hard to believe it when you can’t feel your fingers and snow is falling in your eyes….but it is TOTALLY worth it for the sake of portraits!  Wait until you see Sarah and Eric’s portraits in the woods…our teeth were chattering and we were freezing, but these are some of my favorite portraits I have ever taken!  Simply beautiful!!  Enjoy some of my favorites from the Bader’s wedding day, and Sarah and Eric I hope you’re having a blast in St. Lucia!

Time to get the party started!  Drake’s Landing is such a beautiful reception venue, and I love when couples have a band instead of a DJ!  Rudy and the Professionals is the best band around, they never disappoint!  If you want high energy and amazing talent for your event, you need Rudy!

Not everyone loves cake, and it’s always fun to see alternative cake ideas that couples come up with for their wedding!  Sarah and Eric had probably the best idea ever and had donuts from White House Fruit Farm to serve their guests.  If you’ve never had a blueberry donut from White House, you haven’t really lived.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Bader!  It was an honor to be a part of your day, and I had a blast celebrating with you!!
