Sarah & Eric – Engaged!

Meet Sarah and Eric, my lovely friend and her wonderful fiance!  You’ll be seeing more of these cuties shortly, as their wedding is right around the corner, but I wanted to share some of my favorites from their engagement session.  First off, you need to know a little bit of their story…. Sarah lives in Ohio, and Eric is originally from Ohio but has lived in Texas for the past few years.  Not very long ago, they began a long-distance romance and found that the distance had no impact on the love they discovered for each other.  Their romance continued over the months and the miles, and in September Eric flew home to Ohio with a surprise proposal.  Sarah of course said yes, hauled it into wedding-planning gear, and now these two will say I Do in February and will begin an adventurous life together in Texas!  It’s all so exciting I can hardly stand it!  Eric was home for Christmas and we found a couple hours to take some portraits.  I love the quiet stillness of winter, and the soft effect it gives to portraits.  Such a different style than sunshiney summer sessions, beautiful in it’s own way.  Take a few minutes to ooh and ahh at Sarah and Eric and all their loveliness :)

Eric’s dad just so happens to be an awesome photographer, I think that’s why Eric is a natural at taking photos!

Found so many cool spots to snap some pics!  Sarah and Eric really like the industrial type look, so we worked some magic with an abandoned house and some factory pallets, haha!  Love how these turned out!

Sarah, you are stunning!!

Great job on that ring Eric!  Wowza!

One of my favorites, this makes me catch my breath.

I just love how they look at each other…

We ended our session at Generations Coffee Shop in Columbiana, and they were kind enough to allow us to snap a few more pictures inside.  Top-notch establishment, be sure to stop by for amazing coffee and excellent service!

Just wanted to say what an incredible job you’ve done. Yes, Eric has had a camera pointed at him all his life but it’s Sarah who is putting that smile on his face and joy in his heart. I’m so glad that you are capturing their engagement and wedding. I’m looking forward to sitting back for a change and watching the magic happen.
