Kayla and Justin’s early November wedding checked all the boxes of a perfect fall wedding day….crisp air, the vibrant colors of Ohio’s foliage, and the most stunning couple head over heels in love with each other and thrilled to begin this chapter of their lives! I started the day at Kayla’s parents home where Kayla was seated amidst the hustle and bustle of hair and makeup and family members coming in and out of the house as she got ready. The energy was high, and Kayla was absolutely radiant as the final touches were put on her makeup. The dress went on, and off to the church we went!

Kayla and Justin’s wedding was a traditional Greek orthodox ceremony, and every element was so beautiful. The interior of Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church is simply breathtaking—the iconography, the gold details, the soaring ceilings. Such a sacred backdrop for their vows, and every part of an orthodox Greek ceremony is so beautifully intentional.

After the ceremony, we headed to The Butler Institute of American Art for portraits. Kayla wanted a classic, timeless setting for her portraits and I love that she wanted to go to the Butler! It is one of Youngstown’s most beautiful spots that I don’t think I could ever get tired of. The sun was shining so beautifully as the bridal party unloaded to begin portraits, and gave us such a gorgeous golden hour! After photos we headed to Provence Mills Event Center in Girard for the reception, and we caught the very last moments of golden hour for some newlywed portraits behind the venue. Jaw dropping….you’ll see! The evening was filled with emotional toasts, beautiful dances, and NOTHING beats a live band at your wedding reception! Leather & Lace Productions had the party moving from start to finish!

Kayla and Justin, thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me to capture your best day ever. Your love for each other is so evident, and I am cheering you on as you start this exciting new chapter together!
