Golden Hour Lifestyle Session at Brecksville Reservation | The VanArsdale Family

The VanArsdale family welcomed their sweet boy Everett last fall, and I was so thrilled when Rachel decided last minute to do a family session before his first birthday. Babies don’t keep, and I swear after that first birthday babies turn into energetic toddlers overnight. Lucky for me, Everett is still all blue eyes and baby squish 😍 We met out at Brecksville Reservation, and I still can’t believe this was my first time here! The most gorgeous nature preserve neighboring Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Winding trails through wildflowers and tall grasses surround the local nature center, and the trees here were starting to turn with the hint of fall around the corner. One of my favorite things about working with families over the years is the level of comfort and familiarity that allow you to just be who you are with a camera in front of you, and when we show up for photo time we can just get right to having fun and not worrying about the warm up phase. Big sis Harper is such a delight, and we all just couldn’t get enough of loving on sweet Everett! He’s got his own little fan club, rightfully so.
