They didn’t know gender ahead of time, and HE is a BOY and he’s HERE!! Welcome to the world, sweet James David! This little squish had quite an eventful arrival, but he is here and his parents already can’t imagine life without him. James’ due date was actually shared with my December birthday, so I was really rooting for us to be birthday twins! But he was just way too cozy in his mama’s belly and decided to take his good ol’ time arriving in January. Amanda and Jimmy are already the best parents despite a whirlwind entry to parenthood. This lifestyle newborn session at their home was so relaxed and laid back, and James snoozed almost the entire time! He did decide to open his eyes for some portraits at the very end, and I’m so glad he did. I love a snoozing baby, but getting to capture those open eyes for a few is always a treat! We even got to include the fur babies – little James has the best security team keeping tabs on him.
