As soon as you scroll this beautiful spring maternity session, you will see what I mean when I say Camille just radiates JOY! She and Derek are anticipating the arrival of their first babe, and these two are over the moon with happiness. Camille wanted a garden setting full of blooms for her maternity portraits, and they drove all the way in from Cleveland to come shoot at Youngstown’s famous Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park! This June day was overflowing with bridal parties and weddings galore at the gardens, but we were able to find some nooks and crannies away from the crowds. Camille and Derek both have the most easy-going personalities and are so easy to talk to – they shared the story of how they first met in college, where Derek was in the Friend Zone for several years until Camille saw the light 🤣 He was willing to play the long game for her, knowing she was worth the wait! And now 6 years later, their long-awaited baby is about to make them a family of three come August.

Camille and Derek, thank you for coming all the way to Youngstown to spend this evening with me, hearing you share your story and seeing how sweet your relationship is was just such a joy! Baby Dickson is going to be one lucky babe to have you guys for parents, that’s for sure.
