Backyard Family Session | The Lewis Family | Fredonia PA
Waaaay back when, Beth and I were roommates at the sorority house, where we lived with a whole lot of girls under one roof. Endless memories were made during our early twenties that I still hold dear today! When Beth went out with Tommy for their first date, she knew it was love when he cooked her food 🤣 Not long after that first date, they got married in his grandma’s backyard surrounded by family and friends, and I got to capture all the fun. I took a trip down memory lane looking back at their wedding blog post, and every moment of that day is still so clear in my mind. The old barn collapsed in the middle of their ceremony, the cows got loose in the field next door, and we just had so much FUN on this day.
Ten years later, Beth and Tommy are still having just as much fun together with their three beautiful daughters. For several years Beth has been telling me she wanted to do a 10 year anniversary photoshoot to celebrate their milestone, and I am just so happy we got to do this! I went out to their home in Fredonia, PA to spend the evening with the Lewis family, and this session was just everything I love about lifestyle photography. They just moved into Beth’s grandfather’s old home, and the chaos of moving and living life with three kiddos and really just living life is everywhere, but it’s what makes it all so beautiful. Their oldest daughter Audrey ended up having a softball game (that Tommy coaches!), no one had shoes, Lorelai just wanted to ride the Barbie car, Kennedy was just here for the snacks 😆 Capturing families as they really are, not a picture perfect illusion, is what lifestyle photography is all about.
Beth and Tommy had one more little surprise up their sleeve to share with their girls during their photoshoot…Baby Lewis #4 is coming in December! A pregnancy announcement is such fun to be a part of, and especially this one. Of course the girls already assume they are getting another sister, but we shall see! Congratulations to ten years of marriage Mr. and Mrs. Lewis, and to the next little Lewis joining your crew soon!
