Kelley has been saying for years that she has wanted to get updated family photos done! The last time I photographed the Quigley fam was ten years ago, and all those kids are grown up and taller than their mama! Well for Christmas Annaliese surprised her parents with the best gift ever – a family session! We scheduled their session for June, and the day finally arrived. One thing you need to know about Kelley and Dave: they are both incredible chefs. Kelley planned a gorgeous summer picnic for our evening at Beaver Creek State Park, and I don’t mean hot dogs and potato chips! I’m talking gourmet sandwiches and blueberry scones and fancy lemonade! Not only did it make for a beautiful setting, but it was absolutely delicious. We picnicked by the creek, and then chased the setting sun for some beautiful glowing portraits. Beaver Creek is such a gorgeous spot tucked away in Northeast Ohio, and I always love spending an evening here. The company was the icing on the cake! Annaliese, Adalyn, Jack, and Ty are four of the coolest kids around, and photographing teen siblings is such a refreshing change of pace from scrambling around chasing after little ones, I must admit!
