The minute I met Cait at her engagement session, I knew that we were soul sisters! This girl has the brightest spirit, the most infectious laugh, and the goofiest personality. With that combination, I had a feeling that her wedding day was going to be an absolute blast from the minute I walked into her parents’ home where she and her girls were getting ready! This day has been a long time coming, and Grant and Cait are two of the most genuine people you could ever hope to meet. He’s the calm to her crazy, and Cait just lights Grant up in the sweetest way. Their wedding day was a true celebration of Cait’s hometown roots in Youngstown, held at one of the city’s most beautiful churches: Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Cait and Grant exchanged their vows surrounded by their loved ones, and practically skipped their way back down the aisle as husband and wife! We adventured around the downtown area afterwards for pictures, stopping by the classic Butler Institute of American Art for their bridal party portraits. This was my first time ever shooting here, and it did not disappoint! We headed back to thee parish hall at Our Lady of Mount Carmel for dinner and dancing, with Kyle Primous and the K Street Band bringing the BEST energy to the party! I have so many favorite moments from this day, it was hard to narrow down just a few to share. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Heydinger on the most wonderful wedding day, it was a true honor to share in these memories with you and your loved ones!!

Cait held it together until her daddy walked in to see her for the first time….
Meanwhile, Allison got to hang out with Grant and his guys at the gorgeous Double Tree hotel downtown.
Cait’s dad eased her nerves as they waited in the church basement for their walk down the aisle. Daddy hugs always fix things :)
So handsome!
Introducing the new Dr. and Mrs. Heydinger!!
Tears all around as Grant and Cait danced with their parents.
Cait’s parents got married on this very same day, 40 years ago! So special that she gets to share an anniversary with her parents.
