One of my favorite spots in Mill Creek Park is the iconic Lily Pond, also known as the Goldfish Pond!  I have so many great memories coming to the Lily Pond as a kid, and it’s an area that is still a favorite spot to visit for so many families in Youngstown. The past few years Mill Creek has continued to renovate and improve the area, so it’s just getting better and better!  This was the perfect place to meet up with the Minotti family last week for their annual lifestyle session – which Krista scheduled on Chris’s birthday as the grand finale to their day of celebration!!  How sneaky is that!  We chased Abbey and Harrison around the trails and looked at every turtle and fish along the way.  The paths wind beautifully around the pond and through the trees, with overlooks that give you an up close and personal view at the water. We all know Ohio summers are hot, but this day…..was HOT.  Like 90 degrees and humidity out the wazoo. I am very impressed with how good these guys can look when just stepping out of your car leaves you in a puddle of sweat in two seconds! After our walk around the Lily Pond, we went down the road to run around the playground at Rocky Ridge. Playgrounds are the best way to end a lifestyle session with kids, hands down!
