Sometimes I encounter what I like to think of as a domino effect of amazing people.  Back in 2017 I photographed Melissa and Tyler‘s wedding, two of the sweetest people you could ever meet!  Well Melissa’s bridesmaid Paige invited me to photograph her elopement in Boise Idaho last year to Jacob, and next year her sister Devin is marrying J.T. and I get to be a part of all the fun!  Last weekend Ben and I packed up our pop-up camper and Hazel and headed to Cook Forest for some camping fun, including Devin and J.T.’s summer engagement session!!  Talk about perfect you guys.  We met at the Clarion Brewery downtown, which is just the quaintest little town nestled in PA just outside of the beautiful Cook Forest.  These two met while studying at Clarion University, so downtown is their old stomping grounds!  Ivy walls and artistic murals galore, so you know I was my element.  We wandered the downtown area for a bit before heading to Cook Forest, to the very spot where Devin and J.T. had their first date!  They went to the fire tower and sat in the rain and talked for hours.  Their conversation was easy and their connection was instant….and now they are planning the perfect wedding celebration!  So glad they chose this sentimental spot for their engagement session, we seriously had the best evening taking these pictures.  If you know Devin and J.T., you know they are a laid-back and fun-loving couple, and you can see it in these portraits.  Their smiles are contagious and their love for each other shines bright!  I have way too many favorites to share, but how can you even narrow it down?!  Devin and J.T., thank you for adventuring around Cook Forest with me and sharing your laughter!
