Sometimes love is found in the most unexpected places….like at work!  Jon and Olivia’s love story began six years ago, when they met as baristas working at Caribou Coffee.  There’s just nothing more romantic than a Campfire Mocha! :) Six years later, Jon proposed to Olivia at a cabin in the woods, and these two are planning their wedding celebration.  I was so honored when they invited me to capture their engagement session, because I am lucky enough to count these two as my real life friends!  Getting to celebrate milestones with friends like an engagement is such a Big Deal, and we just had the best day hanging out for this session.  Jon and Olivia just recently moved to the Cleveland area, and we were so excited to adventure around some of their favorite hot spots in their new neighborhood.  I first met up with these cuties at their apartment, where I got to meet their fur babies and get some kitty snuggles in before we went out on the town.  If you have pets, you BETTER include them in your photos, is all I have to say.  Our original plan was to head over to The Cleveland Cultural Gardens to explore all the beauty, but when we found a parking lot I noticed a sign for a greenhouse right across the street.  We wandered over to take a peek, and I am SO GLAD we did because we stumbled into a little piece of magic!  This greenhouse was gorgeous, and created such a unique backdrop!  We had the whole place to ourselves, so we skipped around like fools and didn’t even care because there was no one to make fun of us, haha!

Our next stop was Ohio City, home to some of Olivia and Jon’s favorite spots!  We ate dinner at Great Lakes Brewing Company (get the mac n cheese!), wandered down sidewalks nearby, stumbled across a darling little bookstore, and of course had to get ice cream at Mitchell’s.  All in all, such a fun evening!  Olivia and Jon, thank you for allowing me to tag along with you cuties to capture this season of your relationship.  Your incredible joy and laughter is contagious, and I know your marriage will be overflowing with both!
