I first met the Bundy family three years ago when they invited me down to their family property in Ostrander, OH.  We had the most wonderful day together sipping wine and chasing their dogs through the fields, and I left our time together feeling so inspired by the love these guys share!  Three years later, the Bundy’s invited me back for another lifestyle family session with them at their beautiful family farm, and I was thrilled to be able to see everyone again!  Since we were last together, this amazing family has experienced some major highs and lows.  Lauren and Brad welcomed their sweet miracle baby Joey this year, and I am so happy I finally got to meet this sweet pea!  His pappy and aunties are just over the moon for this little man, and it’s easy to see why.  Joey is an extra special blessing after a season of loss – the Bundy’s lost Kris, the family matriarch and glue uniting everyone together so tightly.  But even though she was not physically with us for this session, her spirit was felt in so many ways.  I can see her in the way Gil looks at their kids with so much love; in the way Paige throws her head back with laughter; in Brad’s eyes; and in Brooke’s gentle spirit.  One of Kris’s favorite things in life was a good cigar and bourbon, and so we ended our evening together with both of those as a tribute to her memory.  Once again, I am reminded of how beautiful it is to take the time as a family to capture photos with one another, and how much more precious those photos grow as the years go by.

Bundy family, thank you once again for inviting me to share this day with you!  It was a joy to come to your home once more and see all the love and laughter shared in your family.  Cheers to new memories!
