When Keri told me she and her husband Paul wanted to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary with a portrait session, I squealed!  I clapped, I happy danced, I sent way too many emoji texts.  A decade ago, engagement sessions really weren’t so much of a “thing,” and these lovebirds have never had the chance to capture all that love into photos to cherish forever.  They now have two beautiful daughters and have built such an incredible life together, and this anniversary session was such a celebration of all the blessings in their life.  About ten minutes into our session, the overcast day turned into rain drops, which turned into a steady drizzle that didn’t go away until we reached our cars to go home….of course!  But Keri and Paul and their girls didn’t even bat an eye, and we just continued to frolic in the rain and splash through the puddles.  I loved getting to hear them share the story of how they met (believe me, it’s a good one!), the things they love about each other, and all the joy that Olivia and Avery bring to their lives.  A decade of marriage is an amazing milestone to celebrate, and I hope these rainy fall family photos get plastered on every wall of their home to remind the Munson family of all they have to be thankful for!
