Kristen and Alex‘s love story started way back in high school, in the place where all great high school romances begin – algebra class. They were seated next to each other, which may have had something to do with the fact that Kristen asked the teacher if her seat could be moved next to his :) Fast forward years later, and these high school sweethearts stood before their family and friends under a sky as blue as Kristen’s bridesmaids’ dresses, and solidified their commitment to each other with personal vows and a heartfelt ceremony. Whetstone Event Center is off the beaten path in Louisville, OH, and it was the perfect backdrop for Kristen and Alex’s celebration. The peaceful ceremony location is nestled against the river, a short walk from the reception where guests headed for cocktail hour and an amazing dinner served by Mission BBQ. The newlyweds planned so many fun things for their guests to enjoy at their party, including pontoon rides on the river, a photobooth, and local favorite, New Baltimore Ice Cream! Yesssss!! These two shared a First Look before their ceremony so they could have even more time together on their big day, and despite the heat, we had a blast hanging out with their bridal party for some photo fun. From start to finish, Kristen and Alex’s wedding day was personalized with all their favorite things, and their families put so much of their heart into making this day truly something special.
