When Liz first approached me about an engagement session, she immediately said that she and her fiance were open to any ideas that I had and wanted to try.  They were willing to give me total creative freedom with their session!  Whaaaat!!  I immediately knew what I wanted to do, an idea that has been in the back of my mind for a couple years now.  Here in Northeast Ohio we don’t quite have rainforests and tropical locations, but we DO have some pretty beautiful greenhouses!  Filled to the brim with color and beauty and so many plants full of LIFE!  My sweet friend Amanda owns L&M Greenhouse in Columbiana, and when I approached her about this idea, she was totally on board with allowing us to hang out here for an evening, wandering among the hanging baskets!  It took a while to arrive, but there’s no doubt that spring is finally in full bloom!

Liz and Raul, how do I even describe these two?!  Their love story began in college at a party they were both attending, where Liz was trying to get Raul’s attention, but he was not getting the hint!  He finally came around though, thank goodness, because there is no doubt these two are meant for each other.  Just listening to them share the dreams they have for their family, you can’t help but smile.  To build a home and a legacy where family is the core, and everyone is welcomed.  It was such a joy to spend an evening with Liz and Raul, we seriously had the best day!  They were so kind to trust me completely to capture this important season of their relationship, even when that included random barns and fields off the grid, haha!  This greenhouse engagement session is hands down one of my favorite shoots of all time, I am just so excited to share all of the beauty with you on the blog!  And if you have never visited L&M Greenhouse, make sure you stop by and spend some time among the flowers.  I can’t say enough great things about one of Columbiana’s finest local businesses!
