This past weekend still feels a little surreal, it’s hard to even know where to begin with sharing the story of Kami and Ravi’s wedding day! What a dream!! This was a day where I think God showed off just a little bit, because there are just too many details that would not have come together if it weren’t for His hand. Let me just start with the most amazing miracle of the entire wedding: Ravi’s parents were able to fly to the United States from India at the last minute to reunite with their son after 7 years and celebrate this joyful wedding day!! You can have the most beautiful venue with the most stunning details and the wedding dress of your dreams with gorgeous hair and makeup, but all of that means nothing if you don’t have the people you love the most present to celebrate by your side. If you know Kami and Ravi, then you know how important their family is to them. After two denied visas, it seemed like there was no way Ravi’s parents would be able to make the trip. Well they decided to interview for a third time, and their visas were approved! The week prior to this wedding was a whirlwind of travel and last minute plans, and they arrived here in Ohio to join the festivities! In planning their wedding, Ravi and Kami knew they wanted to celebrate both of their cultures, and I think my jaw was on the floor for most of this day because WOW! Their entire day was such a beautiful celebration of who they are as individuals, and their relationship together as a couple. It was a day that had thunderstorms in the forecast for the entire day, but no rain fell. A ceremony that was being moved indoors got the call two hours before it started that they could do it outside by the lake. Ravi’s parents found the perfect Indian wedding dress for Kami via FaceTime and had it sent to her from India, and it literally could not have been more perfect. And through all the uncertainty and chaos of planning during these past months, Kami and Ravi remained focused on each other and on building a marriage more beautiful than any wedding day they could ever plan for. I could not be more excited for these two as they officially begin this great new adventure, and I am still in awe of the beauty of their day! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Yenugu!!!

This beautiful necklace was a gift to Kami from Ravi’s parents! Just stunning!
Ravi’s closest friends Prasanna and Rakesh helped him get ready, and man did they take care of him! I wish every groom got this kind of care and attention!
My favorite moment of the whole day! The First Look!!
These two…absolutely stunning.
What a bridal party!!
When you have ten adorable nieces and nephews, you HAVE to include them in your bridal party!
The rain held off!! Outdoor ceremony, here we come!
Call me biased, but the cutest little flower girl that I ever did see.
In Indian weddings, the “tying of the knot” holds the same importance as the exchanging of rings in American weddings. Ravi’s parents helped him tie the knot around his bride’s neck, officially sealing their marriage!
The Conrads + Yenugus = FAMILY
Traditional Indian dance by Ravi and his groomsmen!
We snuck up to the vineyards for some sunset newlywed portraits with just the bride and groom! So glad we did!
Ravi gave a beautiful toast to his parents, and wrote a poem for his bride that he shared with us all!
The newlyweds and their guests danced the night away! Indian dance music is so much better than American music!!
