A few months ago we found out that Ben’s cousins from Switzerland were going to be making the trip to the United States, and last week they finally arrived!!  Galina and her husband Micha have two kiddos Elin and Ben, and they are moving to the U.S. for 6 months to train under the YWAM organization in Nashville, TN.  It’s pretty crazy to hear their story, but sometimes following God’s calling includes crazy things like leaving your home and traveling to another country!  The Pfister crew arrived in New York, and are road tripping down to Tennessee, making stops along the way to visit with Galina’s American family members.  We had the best day with these guys, showing them some of our favorite places in the Youngstown area!  We made a pit stop at Firestone Park in Columbiana to explore the walking trail and play on the playground, even though it was a little chilly out!  The Pfisters really got a taste of true Ohio winter, because this day it was sunny and chilly, but the next day they woke up to freezing temps and a blanket of snow on the ground!!  I am so thankful for the time we got to spend with Galina and Micha and for the chance to get to know them better.  After just a day together, I wish they lived nearby all the time so we could see more of each other!  Elin and Ben are just the cutest, and although they don’t speak English, we still had a blast chasing them around and laughing together.  Some things can be understood in any language :)

Pfister family, I am so glad that we got to spend time with you during your trek through Ohio!  What an adventure you are on, and we can’t wait to see where the journey takes you!
