It’s no surprise that fall is the most popular time of year to take portraits in Northeast Ohio! Red, orange, and gold tones fill the sky as trees show off their prettiest colors and the crunch of leaves fills the air. October is always a packed month for portrait sessions, and you won’t find me complaining! October is my favorite month of the year, I wish it lasted for so much longer! I’ve had the chance to spend time with so many awesome families and couples in front of my camera this fall, and this season has even become a tradition for some families to take their family portraits.
Last week I got to spend an evening with the Moore family – Lucas, Jordan, Wren, and Locke. First of all, are those not the cutest kids’ names?! Wren is a spunky two and a half year old, and her little brother Locke just arrived this past spring! I got to do a family session with the Moore crew two years ago, and of course Wren has grown so much since then! Now she is running around and chatting and telling me all the dinosaur names (yes she literally knows what a brachiosaurus is, this kid loves dinosaurs!), her curly blonde hair flying in the wind. I think it’s safe to say that pretty much every two and a half year old is a wild child, that’s just what toddler life is! We ran around and explored and picked dandelions and even wrangled everyone in for some group photos all together :) Luckily for us little Locke is happy to sit wherever you plant him, or hang out with his mom and dad! Happy as can be, this little man! Locke’s big cheesy grin just melts my heart, such a smiley guy! Jordan and Lucas, thank you for entrusting me to capture these family memories for you, it was a joy!
One of my favorites!!
Not pictured: the two crazy babies hanging out at knee level here – haha! Sometimes I have to get creative with my cropping!
Look at these little babes!! They are adorable!
You can’t forget to take some time for just two, even with a whole bunch of crazy on your hands <3
