This professional headshot session for Allison was a dream come true! A floral crown, tulle skirt, and golden hour – what more could you ask for?! Well, maybe a magical field of Queen Anne’s Lace, and luckily we got that too. Allison and I first met when she signed up for a coaching session with me over two years ago, and little did we know that our coaching session would turn into an amazing friendship! Allison began working with me on wedding days last year, and I could not ask for a better assistant and second shooter! This lady can read my mind and knows what I need before I even open my mouth! Even more valuable than her willingness to work side by side with me on long wedding days in the rain, the heat, and the humidity though, is her encouraging attitude and friendship. Having Allison as my “creative bestie” is like having my own personal cheerleader! I am so grateful for her!
Allison has steadily grown her hobby for photography into an amazing talent and business, and it has been SO exciting to follow her journey from the beginning! She is currently working on a brand new website and branding, and I CANNOT WAIT to see the final result! I have seen little pieces of it coming together and it is so Allison! Well with a new website, comes new headshots! When Allison asked me to do these for her, I was more than happy! She asked if I thought she should wear a floral crown because she really wanted to, and the answer to the floral crown debate is always YES. A resounding yes. Tara with Farmhouse Blooms created the most perfect floral creation that included all of Allison’s branding colors, and we even threw in a succulent ring for good measure. Yesssss!! We had a beautiful evening for frolicking in some fields of Queen Anne’s Lace, and I just love love love everything about these portraits. Mostly because they are just so Allison though.
Good luck picking just a few of these for your new website, Allison! I can’t wait to see the big reveal! Anytime you want to channel your inner woodland fairy and go play in some fields, just let me know :)

Glitter just makes everything better, don’t you think?
Allison’s husband Jason came along too, so of course I had to snap just a few of these two together!
