When something doesn’t fit perfectly, you know it.  You feel it with a relationship, with a pair of shoes, with a business venture.  When something fits you right, you want to shout it from the rooftops and show it off to the world!  And when it doesn’t, you try to hide it in the back of the closet or try to convince yourself that it’s better than it is.  Last summer, I launched my new brand and website.  And while I loved certain elements, overall it just wasn’t quite my perfect fit.  So back to the drawing board I went, and after lots of hard work with my incredible designer Jacki of Foil & Ink, I am so PROUD and EXCITED to reveal the new, perfect-fit online home of Carlyn K Photography!

If you’ve never heard of ShowIt, it’s a custom website builder for creative professionals.  They just launched the brand new ShowIt 5, and lucky me got to jump on board!  I am fist pumping the fact that my website now looks beautiful on every computer screen, phone, and tablet – and that is a huge deal!  So many people are using their phones and iPads over computer monitors these days, and having a website that looks awesome across the board is super important.  Jacki did a wonderful job designing a creative online home that beautifully showcases my work and shares my heart behind what I do!

So grab a cup of coffee, kick up your feet, and have some fun exploring my new online home!  I am looking forward to continuing to share my world with you in this beautiful space – my uh-mazing clients, my travels, my life.  It’s hard to believe that this blog began almost 4 years ago already.  Time flies!  I pinch myself daily that this passion of mine is my career.  I am forever grateful for all of you who continue along with me on this journey, your encouraging words, comments, likes, and shares do not go unnoticed!  Thank you, thank you, thank you.
