CKP Weekend Wrap-Up!

If you are reading this today from the East coast….I am sorry about all the snow.  After two weeks in San Diego, I’m starting to forget that the white fluffy stuff does indeed exist in other parts of the world.  But thank you to so many of our friends for sending us pictures of the snow to remind us!  Dustin and Kristi sent a video, so they win for creativity ;)  We had some overcast days and rain drizzles this week, but I won’t complain about it because at least we can still leave the house.  So whether you’re enjoying a snow day today or hopefully some sunshine, here’s some of our fun from the weekend!

Ben and I took the ferry from downtown San Diego over to Coronado Island, which is a little world all in it’s own!  We walked all over the island and enjoyed dinner at a restaurant with a view of San Diego across the bay.  Isn’t there just something magical about city lights?  Especially reflecting off the ocean water at night time.  We also got a taste of the historical Gaslamp Quarter, with block after block of restaurants, shops, and theaters filling the beautiful old buildings.  I see many return trips here in the future, for sure!  Enjoy some of our favorite moments,  and you can also see the awesome video footage that Ben put together of our road trip out west!
