Fall is funny how it just sorta sneaks up on us.  One day you’re driving and notice the first tree on the side of the road that starts changing colors, and then the next thing you know shades of gold and red and orange are screaming at you from every tree branch!  It is hands down the prettiest time of year for taking portraits, you can’t beat a backdrop of vibrant color.  Fall is the busiest time of year for portraits, this week was the kickoff to A LOT of fun fall sessions!  Engagements, families, kids – get ready to see a lot of laughter and love this autumn, the blog is going to be busy!  I love it!  This weekend I took a little road trip to Cleveland for Kaitlin and John’s engagement session, and I had to keep myself from editing their entire session overnight to share with you right away.  SO GOOD.  We had a little bit of everything – fields, the lake, the city.  And Kaitlin just so happens to be one of my nearest and dearest friends, which means this session was THAT much more wonderful because I just love her to pieces!  So stay tuned for more of those cuties coming soon :)  You also get a sneak peek at the Altobelli family session!  I have had the pleasure of photographing Maria and Mark’s engagement, wedding, and maternity announcement, so this time around I got to meet their new addition Vincent!

 

I don’t know about you, but I find myself with an extra bounce in my step on beautiful autumn days like today!  Kinda makes Monday not seem so bad, doesn’t it?  Grab a cup of coffee – or even better, apple cider! – and enjoy these sneak peeks!
