CKP Weekend Wrap-Up!

How did anyone ever plan birthday parties before Pinterest?  There’s probably a lot of things people didn’t know how to do before Pinterest (like anything creative or crafty or delicious), but I feel like birthday parties are now about ten times more awesome then they were when I was growing up.  Like, there’s themes now.  I think all my birthday parties as a kid had the theme of cake and ice cream.  My nephew J-Man’s 2nd birthday party was yesterday, and his favorite interests as of late are diggers, dump trucks, and dirt.  So a construction-themed birthday party was the perfect way to celebrate this lil guy!  He was in toddler heaven!  My sis planned an AWESOME event, so many fun little details!  I made James’ cake, and I’m pretty proud of this creation!  Found on Pinterest, of course…here’s the link!  James loved playing with all his buddies and family that came to celebrate with him, and no doubt we’ll all be hearing him chatter about the festivities for a looong time.  You can see his birthday portrait session from last week, and I’ve also got a sneak peek at another birthday session for you!  I got to hang out with Lucy this weekend, and she is turning one this month.  Everything about this lil babe is adorable, I can’t wait to share her entire session with you later this week!

Make it a great day everyone, Happy Monday!

So creative!

James was so exited about blowing out his candles, although he was having some trouble with the concept haha.

Meet Lucy….toooo cute to handle!
