Hi friends!!  This is my FIRST blog post EVER, and I am so excited to share not only my photographs with you, but the stories that go with them.  I can’t wait for you to meet all my fabulous clients, and I’ll also be sharing excerpts from my own crazy life! Since this is my first blog post, I should probably share a little bit about myself with you.  In case we haven’t met before, here I am!

In the words of Buddy the Elf, “I like smiling, smiling’s my favorite!”  You should smile each day until your cheeks hurt.  Now that you know what I look like, you can say hello and introduce yourself if we end up at Caribou at the same time.  No excuses!

I am a 25-year old Christ-follower setting out on a big dream to follow my passion.  Photography is something I have loved doing for quite a while now, but by no means do I know every single thing there is to know about it – every day is a chance to learn more and improve my skills!  I can’t wait to use this blog as a way to share what I am learning, and hopefully you can get a better feel for who I am as a person.

Call me biased, but my family is the greatest bunch of crazies to be a part of!  I love them.

My nephews Michael and James are so cute I can hardly stand it.  You’ll probably be seeing a lot of them around here!

Pinterest is completely to blame for this, but I really want a pet hedgehog.  I’ve been doing my pet hedgehog research, so maybe one day?…..

Coffee = comfort.  I love coffee.  Hot, iced, Caribou, Starbucks, Dunkin. I love it all.  I also love my zebra glasses.

I’ll leave you  with a recent image from Nancy & Kory’s engagement shoot.  Your photos should be ANYTHING but boring, and this couple was willing to stand in a waterfall to get some memorable and FUN images!  LOVE IT!!
