So first off, this isn’t really a Weekend Wrap-Up. It’s more like a Past 2 Weeks Wrap-Up. We returned back to Ohio from living in Connecticut, and entered a crazy couple of weeks of weddings and traveling and road-tripping! It has been a whirlwind of fun, but I am looking forward to being in one place for an extended period of time for a bit. What a fun summer this has been though, and I am so thankful for this season of adventure and exploring that Ben and I have had the opportunity to enjoy! Our latest adventures included a road trip to Nashville for Julie and David’s engagement session, and from there we kept on driving to Asheville, North Carolina to spend some time in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Asheville is known as a city for musicians and artists, and it did not disappoint! We LOVED walking the streets of downtown Asheville and listening to the buskers and exploring the local farmer’s markets. We stayed at probably the coolest place ever, a secluded retreat tucked away in the mountains where we slept in a bamboo hut in the great outdoors. Yes, it was for real! Enjoy some of my favorite moments from our adventures, along with our time camping with my sister and her family. Happy Monday friends!
There’s a house hidden underneath all that ivy! This was the main lodge at our mountain retreat in Asheville!
