Ann and Eric have been planning their wedding day for such a long time now, and May is quickly approaching when they will finally have their celebration! These two live in Maryland, but are having a Youngstown wedding in Eric’s hometown this spring. The stars finally aligned for us to meet up for an engagement session during one of their visits to Youngstown, and I cannot believe how perfectly this all worked out because they got SNOW! So often couples/families are hoping to have magical snowy photos, but you can’t exactly plan the snowfall in advance. Well we absolutely lucked out, and Ann and Eric got a beautiful blanket of fresh snowfall (and frigid temps to go with it) on our scheduled date for their engagement photos. Their pup Artemis was along for this trip, and she loved the snow too! We all met up at Pioneer Pavilion at Mill Creek Park, where we explored the nearby trails and beautiful scenery. One of the prettiest spots in all of Mill Creek, it was extra magical seeing the gothic-style historic building covered in snow. Finally getting to spend time with these two in person instead of via email was such a delight, and hearing some of the details for their wedding day has me so pumped for May!
Ann and Eric (and Artemis!), I’m so happy we were finally able to spend time together during your stay in Youngstown! Your love for each other and the life you are building together shines bright in these images, and I am so looking forward to capturing your wedding day soon ❤️
