When Katarina and Josh first met each other years ago, they “just knew” that this was it. Three months after dating, they were engaged and just recently celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary! When Katarina found out she was expecting, she had that same “just knew” feeling, and she was right! Katarina and Josh are expecting a little boy in June, and this spring maternity session was such a sweet way to celebrate this milestone in their lives. Katarina has such a creative eye, and every room in their home looks like something out of a magazine! Such a classic, clean style. Baby Nikola’s nursery is a gorgeous neutral color palette, with woodland animal details and the most relaxing vibe. I am always a fan of bold colors, but there is just something about a neutral nursery that I LOVE!
After relaxing at their home, we headed to Poland Woods, where the forest was exploding with bluebells and everything looked so lush and green! Springtime at Poland Woods is just my favorite, Mother Nature shows off big time. Katarina brought two dresses to change into for our portraits in the woods, and I just love both! Her gorgeous neutral linen dress gives me allll the boho vibes! She is just the cutest little mama and I loved seeing her excitement at meeting her son spill all over her face. The anticipation of meeting your little one is so real! The best feeling. And Josh adores Katarina in the sweetest, gentle way. Josh, you are going to be the best daddy and caretaker of youor family. Just a few more weeks, and Niko will be here! Congratulations Vlosich family, thank you for inviting me to capture this incredibly special season of your lives!
