Intimate Spring Wedding at Gervasi Vineyard Conservatory | Canton OH | Carissa + Austin
When Carissa and Austin envisioned what they wanted their wedding day to look like, they knew they wanted it to be simple and laid-back. Sit down with these two for 5 minutes and you’ll realize that they are simple and laid-back people to their core! They decided that an intimate wedding ceremony at the Gervasi Vineyard conservatory was exactly what they were looking for, and it truly was the perfect backdrop for their vows. When I arrived in the morning at Gervasi’s villas tucked away in the willows by the lake, Carissa was curling her hair in the bathroom, calm as can be with a smile on her face. Across the hallway, Austin and his parents were in another room chattering away with the excitement of the day before them. This was my first time inside the villas at Gervasi, and I couldn’t get over how beautiful they were! Such a beautiful and relaxing space to spend a wedding morning getting ready. Carissa’s mom helped her button up her classic gown, and she was off to go see Austin for their First Look! The look on Austin’s face as he got to see his bride for the first time was just the best. Carissa is such a natural beauty, and her beauty was even more emphasized on her wedding day. It’s no secret that I love when couples opt to see each other privately before their wedding ceremony, and I’m so glad that these two got to spend a quiet morning together before meeting their family at the conservatory to exchange their vows. We had the most beautiful sunshine on this day, and took so many beautiful portraits by the willow trees and around Gervasi’s gorgeous property. Ah! I just have way too many favorites.
Carissa and Austin stood before their loved ones and pledged their lives to each other, their words ringing with love and truth. Looking around at their family members gathered as witnesses, you could just see the pride and joy beaming off of them! Two incredible families uniting together, there was such a sense of excitement buzzing around! The newlyweds celebrated with lunch at Gervasi’s bistro, and it was the perfect ending to their intimate wedding day. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Adams, thank you for inviting me to tell the story of your day!!
