It’s not every couple that wouldn’t even bat an eye at rain drops during their engagement session, but Amanda and Conor were quite literally up for anything during their photos!  These cuties have made their home in Columbus, OH, but are both originally from the Youngstown area.  When planning their engagement session, they decided to bring it back to their roots and capture these photos in their hometown.  Conor grew up in Canfield, and he and Amanda spent a lot of time at his parents home when they were first dating.  They decided to hang out at the cozy Dockry household for our time together, where so many of their memories together have been made.  December in Ohio can be unpredictable, and I wasn’t sure if we were going to have snow flurries or thunderstorms!  The morning of their session rolled around, accompanied by a steady drizzle of raindrops.  But no worries, because Conor’s parents home was full of all kinds of cozy little nooks to hang out in!  It was so great finally getting to meet these cuties in person, and hearing all about how they met and began dating, and their super sweet proposal.  We even ran out into the backyard to capture some of the gorgeous scenery, rainy weather and all!  Totally worth it!!  And I had to include the best grand finale – Conor’s family rescued a litter of kittens recently, and he and Amanda are adopting one of their own.  We ended this session with the sweetest kitty cuddles, and I was smitten!  Cats make every session even better!
