They met and immediately knew that life was about to change, and for the better.  The love that Raina and Michael share is the kind that you can sense just by being in the same room with them, and it makes you smile.  The way he looks at her, and the way she smiles at him.  These are two incredible people, and it was an absolute honor to be a part of their wedding day that overflowed with so much love and emotion.

 

 

Brookside Farms in Louisville, Ohio, was the beautiful venue for the celebration.  I loved everything about this place, from the rustic old farmhouse where the girls got ready to the cows grazing in the pasture nearby and the authentic barn where the reception was held.  It was perfect!  Absolutely perfect.  Michael and Raina exchanged handwritten vows, and I’m the first to admit that weddings always make me cry, but their words were so moving and personal and emotional that I don’t think there was a dry eye in the crowd.  Every detail was beautifully planned, and completely “them.”  After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour complete with a bluegrass band (hello banjo!!) and lawn games – badminton included.  Why doesn’t every couple have horseshoes and putt putt at their wedding?!  It was amazing!  Guests danced the night away in the beautiful barn full of twinkly lights, and Raina and Michael celebrated their marriage surrounded by their closest friends and family.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Hooper, I can’t thank you enough for asking me to capture your memories!  Your day was the perfect celebration of your incredible love, which is evident in these images.  May you enjoy these memories forever!
