Hearing how couples have met is always one of my favorite elements of shooting weddings and engagement sessions!  Blind dates, chance meetings, mutual friends, online dating….the stories are endless!  Well Lauren and Declan have such a unique story, because they are the FIRST couple I have ever worked with who actually met on Tumblr!  7 years ago they began a friendship online, last year they got engaged in Disney, and now they are building a beautiful life together and planning the wedding of their dreams.  And it’s going to be a laid-back barn wedding with wildflowers galore, so I am already looking forward to next June!  Last week I went up to Akron for an evening of hanging out with Lauren and Declan, and we just had the most beautiful day for this session.  We began our time together at their cozy apartment, where they introduced me to their three kitties – Dallas, Bemis, and Lacey.  These cuties weren’t *super* interested in the camera, but we snuck a few shots in there of those fur babies!  Afterwards we headed to a beautiful park nearby, where we stumbled upon a field of wildflowers and so much beauty!  Our grand finale was the Riverfront in downtown Cuyahoga Falls, where we made our way down to the water for the last light of the evening.

Lauren and Declan, thank you for such a fun evening together exploring and laughing!  I loved getting to know you two more, and CANNOT WAIT for your amazing barn wedding!!  It’s going to be an incredible celebration!
