The Severt family had my love forever before we even got to meet.  You see, when we were planning their lifestyle home session, Stacey mentioned that their entire family loooooves ice cream, and that they were thinking of including an ice cream party for their photos.  Ice cream is basically my love language, so I just KNEW that we were going to get along!  Stacey and her husband Jim live out in Diamond, OH with their beautiful teenage girls Sierra and Sydney.  When we were planning their session months ago, we were anticipating snowy wintry weather, being that it was February in Ohio.  Well we MAJORLY lucked out, and this past weekend we had sunshine and 60 degrees for this shoot!  I couldn’t believe it!  We hung out inside for the afternoon, and then snuck outdoors for some golden hour portraits right as the sun was dipping behind the bare trees in their front yard.  I loved listening to their stories, and memories, and dreams.  Miss Sydney is going to be a doctor someday, and she has the smarts to make it happen!  She also loves painting, and has such an artistic talent.  Sierra is a ballerina, and I could just watch her dance all day.  She has such grace and skill for someone so young!  I just know that one day these girls will be famous and I’ll get to say I had the chance to photograph them way back when :)  Stacey and Jim have a love story that makes you grin ear to ear as they tell it, and I couldn’t believe it when they said they have been married for 26 years.  What an incredible story they have written together, and such a family to be proud of.  Severt family, thank you for inviting me into your home to capture these moments!  Your laughter is contagious and your love is evident – you guys are awesome.  And not just because we both love ice cream ;)  Enjoy some of my favorites from my day with the Severt crew!
