A historic farmhouse and wreath studio are part of this wonderful tree farm maternity session I am sharing with you today, which just sounds too good to be true!  If I had to make a list of some of my favorite places, I’m pretty sure that all of those are on it.  I have such a weak spot for farmhouses, there’s just something about creaky steps and all the character built into the walls that make me feel nostalgic.  Tara and Jon Fodor are a husband and wife team over at Fodor Tree Farm in Poland, OH and I was absolutely THRILLED when they asked me to do a lifestyle maternity session with them to capture their amazing family.  They have one handsome little toddler on their hands, and another babe coming very soon!  Jonathan Nash is endearingly nicknamed J.Nash, and he is the cutest little blondie who loves his parents and LOVES running around the tree farm!  We began our session in the farmhouse, where the Fodors have the dreamiest window light.  Tara has such a calm and laid back personality, and she is such a natural in front of the camera.  I just love that about her!  She makes it all look easy, whether it’s whipping up 100 wreaths before Black Friday, wrangling a toddler, or modeling in front of the camera.  She and Jon are the perfect team in all aspects – in parenting, in their marriage, in their business.  I love seeing them interact as a family and the love they all share.  Tara and Jon are crazy about J.Nash, and I think that love is only going to grow when there’s another little one added to their family.

After hanging out indoors for a bit, we all bundled up and headed outdoors to have some fun among the pine trees!  J.Nash loves loves loves running around all the trees, being chased by his daddy and exploring the fields.  We wrapped up our time together in the wreath studio, where I got to see Tara in action making some Christmas magic!  I swear, there is nothing she can’t make!  She creates everything from traditional wreaths to natural, rustic wreaths with just a sprinkling of Christmas magic added to them.  Such a talent!  Fodor Tree Farm will be opening on Black Friday, so be sure to stop by the farm to cut down your own tree, purchase the perfect wreath, and say hi to Tara, Jon, and J.Nash!
