When you are running your own business, a lot of time is spent working alone and logging seemingly endless hours behind a computer screen.  Being a business owner takes a lot of determination and a lot of hustle to make things happen!  There’s an incredible new movement happening that is currently taking the creative industry by storm, in the best way possible!  The Rising Tide Society is a group of creative entrepreneurs that believe in building Community over Competition, along with providing support and encouragement to others in the industry.  It may seem like a strange concept to want to be friends with and help out other businesses who are technically your “competition,” but when you alter your perspective and attitude and take joy in building others up, it becomes a whole new world!

The Rising Tide Society has spread beyond nationwide and is becoming a global movement.  Tuesdays Together occur on the second Tuesday of each month, where you can gather with local entrepreneurs and enjoy coffee and conversation and be inspired.  Last week the Youngstown chapter of the Rising Tide Society gathered for the first time, and it was so great to see some familiar faces, as well as to meet some new people!  If you are a creative entrepreneur in the Youngstown, Ohio area, and you value community over competition and would love to be a part of a positive support group, please join us!  This is not just for wedding photographers, but for Creative Entrepreneurs and Small Business CEOs, including: Artists, Bloggers, Boutique Owners, Calligraphers, Designers, Event Planners, Florists, Makeup Artists, Photographers, Stylists, Wedding Pros, Writers and more!
