Is there a better time for a portrait session than the golden hour during autumn?  No way!  At least not in my book!  That golden light pouring over the beautifully colored trees…sigh.  Magical.  And when you’re photographing a beautiful family, it really is the perfect combination!  I met the Jordan family out at their home in Slippery Rock and we headed to a nearby park, complete with a rushing creek and outdoor amphitheater.  I almost wish I lived closer to Slippery Rock so I could go there more!  Alissa and Ron have two kiddos, Holden and Brielle, and they are the sweetest.  My favorite kinds of family sessions are the ones filled with laughter and smiles, two things that come so easily to this family.  When I look at this session, it is evident how much these guys love each other, and that makes me smile :)  Without further ado, meet the Jordans!
