Amanda & Keith – Engaged

Amanda and I met over coffee months ago, and as soon as she sat down I knew I was going to like her!  Keith had just popped the question, and the wedding planning was beginning.  I always get a little nervous when meeting brides for the first time – What if we don’t get along?  What if the style of wedding photography she wants isn’t MY style??  What if their pictures aren’t really THAT important to the couple and they just need to hire any photographer?!  What if What if What if?!?  Useless worrying though, because it just so happens that Amanda and I get along great, the way she describes what she wants her wedding images to look like is just the style I shoot, and wedding photography is WAY important to Amanda and Keith and a high priority in their wedding planning!  Perfect match!

As we discussed ideas for their engagement session, we agreed on a gorgeous snowy winter wonderland shoot!  Snow covering the ground, bundled up and in love….. but then, winter never arrived.  We rescheduled and rescheduled, and THE SNOW NEVER FELL.  What?!?  We live in Northeast Ohio people, aka blizzard central from December to March, or even April or May!!  WHERE IS THE SNOW?!?  Unheard of.  Winter of 2012 went in the books as The Winter That Wasn’t, and we  changed plans to a sunny spring shoot.

So here are some of my favorite shots from Amanda and Keith’s engagement session, I hope you enjoy!  These lovebirds are getting married in one month, and I can’t wait for the big day!!  It’s going to be beautiful!

Jax is the most photogenic dog ever!!  He was so good about getting his picture taken!  Is it just me or is he actually SMILING in this photo?!

LOVE!!

Funny moment:  I’m in the zone clicking away like crazy and I told Keith to look over at me.  HE GAVE ME THE EYEBROW and I just lost it.  This still makes me laugh.

Mandy you’re GORGEOUS!!  Such pretty blue eyes!

TOMS!

Keith is a hunting woodsman manly man, and he and Amanda wanted to include his hobby in their shoot!  On went the hunting boots (Keith is that the technical name??  Sorry if they’re officially called something else!) and look how cute they are!!  Amanda, you’re the only gal who can make hunting boots look this cute and stylish.  Seriously.

One month until “I Do” for Mandy and Keith, so you’ll be seeing more of them soon!  Love you guys, and am so excited to be a part of your big day!!
